Here are some of the exciting things that ACCC is planning for this upcoming year. We encourage you to come out and participate. If you are interested in helping with any of these events, or have any comments and questions, come talk to one of the Board.
Fall '96
Getting to know you...  
        Sept. 6
      - an informal gathering of returning students, freshman as
well as transfers. This social setting will provide people with the
information about ACCC and its upcoming events. All are welcomed.
Caribbean Carnival  
        Sept. 21
      - 5th annual Caribbean Carnival. This year's carnival in
all of its beauty will be recreated here at the University of Rochester. There will be
bands and dancers and mascaraders. Costumes wil be paraded and a King and
Queen of the bands will be there. Stick around for the evening show where a
calypsonian and reggae artist will perform... and if you are still yearning
for more there will be an After-party in the May Room beginning at 10pm.
All of the events will be free except for the After party. All are
welcomed.
Community Service
      - an ongoing project. Food drives, clothing drives - to be
announced.
Dance Rehearsals
      - have been scheduled for Mondays and Thursdays at 8pm in
the Bridge Lounge. All are welcomed to participate.
Guest Speaker
      - to be announced.
Binghamton
Carifest
      - to be announced. Arrangements for a trip to attend is
underway.
ACCC Week
      - has been moved to the beginning of March - date to be
announced.
