Alpha Delta Phi (Alpha Delt) is the first and oldest greek letter fraternity at the University of Rochester. With the chapter at the UofR founded in 1850, it is actually older than the university itself. With a house on the Fraternity Quad which is almost 75 years old, it is also one of the first houses built on campus.

Since Alpha Delta Phi was originally founded as a literary society in 1832 at Hamilton College, we still keep with our literary roots by holding literary competitions and numerous literary discussions each semester.
