Alpha Phi Is...

  • provides networking to allow friendships to last for a lifetime
  • living on a hall with 23 other girls who make me happier every day thtat I live there
  • going into a sister's room 20 times while getting ready for formal to check if her earrings match, even though she's not going to wear them regardless of what the other sister says
  • borrowing a sister's needle at 2 o'clock in the morning to sew her pillow for her little sister
  • propping thte door to the hall with a hanger so sisters can come hang out on the floor
  • sending flowers to an alumna whose family member just passed away
  • watching Grey's Anatomy on the floor and muting during commercials to argue about medical terms
  • going to the gym together at 7:30 in the morning, even though you really don't want to
  • a group filled with leaders, all fighting for leadership positions, within Alpha Phi and around campus
  • dancing at one in the morning to put a sister in a million times better mood
  • getting ten thousand wall posts on your birthday, all from Alpha Phis
  • beautiful ceremonies, filled with hundreds of years of history that date back to our founding sisters
  • one of the biggest supporters of Cardiac Care

  • always changing, always taking in new members and saying goodbye to seniors, but remembering the memories forever
  • an organization dedicated to making it the best it can be
  • picking a sister up at the airport in the middle of the night on the day of AlphaTraz because she was coming home from an interview
  • pledging with tweleve girls you hardly know, and having them become some of your best friends in the world
  • diversity
  • a place of comfort, where you can be whoever you want to be, and you are loved for that
  • the place you want to call your home, and you have 50 sisters, big and little, who will make constructive criticism of you, call you out on your mistakes, be honest with you, love you regardless, brush their teeth next to you, pig out in Danforth with you, call you over breaks just because they miss you, go out with you, give you advice about your boyfriend, yell at you if you deserve it, praise you for your accomplishments, and be there for you, whenever
