Approximately once a month, students from the renowned Eastman School of Music perform in the Wilson Commons Pit Area for lunchtime patrons. Shows are free and host a variety of musical genres.
These popular programs, often co-sponsored with the UR Dance Program, bring talented and inspired dance or performance artists to the University of Rochester. These artists frequently give workshops for no charge, and perform either one or two nights. Tickets for the performances are subsidized for UR students, but performances are open to the public.
Recent artists have included Sean Curran, Robert Een, Richard Haisma (all co-sponsored with the Dance Program), American Pictures (co-sponsored with the Community Service Network), Welles-Brown Concert Series (co-sponsored with Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia), and Bob Berky (co-sponsored with the Campus Program Board and the Student Activities Office).
