For the second half of the Texas Swing, the URDU continued to compete against top-notch teams, at the University of Texas-Dallas. For five of the debaters on the Rochester squad, UT-Dallas was their third tournament in a span of less than two weeks. Brittany Carter and Buddy Khan had another successful tournament, finishing with a 4-3 record in the preliminaries.
For many, the highlight of the Dallas trip was the dessert menu at a local Thai restaurant:
