Engleside Stables

The UR Equestrian Club moved to Engleside Stables in the fall of 2006. The farm is located in Penfield, NY, about 30 minutes off campus. The farm offers two outdoor rings, a large indoor ring, heated lounge/observation room, 3 separate barns and many large paddocks for turn-out. Barn staff is available to tack up horses for us, though we encourage everyone to learn for themselves over the course of the year. Engleside is home to about 50 horses, about a fourth of which are lesson horses for the club. Boarding is available for club members wishing to bring their horses to school with them.

Engleside Stables is full of friendly people and good horses. To show our appreciation for everything they do for us, in addition to lessons we have clinics on stable management, hold tack-cleaning marathons, and the ever-popular rock picking parties to keep riding and turn-out areas safe.
