Welcome Back!! I hope that everyone kept up their riding skills this summer because the UR Equestrian Team is hitting the ground running. We have lots of fun social events and fundraisers planned and a very early start to the show season. Make sure not to miss the first meeting of the year (details below) so that we can schedule lessons and start riding as soon as possible -- I hope to see a lot of new faces there as well!!

• Zone Championships!
(Saturday, April 12, 2008) - Risa Bernstein was our first team member to qualify for Zones!!! After an awesome ride in Skidmore, she brought back an 8th.

• IHSA Regionals
ST. LAWRENCE (March 28, 2008) - The first time in years we've been to Regionals and we ROCKED! Risa Bernstein has qualified to go to Zones! Nadia Byrnes came in 4th place (one spot away from zones!). Brittany Vena also had a steller ride after which she accepted the U of R team's 10th place ribbon for the region! View Picture
