1.) Joel (jlangdon@rochester.edu)
has contacted the 6 people going on the September 27th build. He has also
selected alternates. If you were not contacted for this month, FEAR NOT,
you will certainly go on at least one build this year.
So, in any case, if you are one of the six people going on the build, be sure to
show up at ITS on September 27th (Saturday) at 8AM sharp. Dress in layers
and in clothes that you wouldn’t mind getting paint all over. Bring like
10 bucks too or a bagged lunch. Chances are lunch will be provided but it’s
not a guarantee.
2.) Sweet brainstorming session at the meeting people. However, if you
weren’t able to make the meeting and have any ideas (there is no such thing as
a stupid idea), email Brie (bspinett@rochester.edu).
Also email her if you want to be on the Fundraising Committee.
3.) Also, the October fundraiser will be the focus of the next general members
meeting. There will be a sign up sheet to volunteer for ½ an hour or so
selling goody glasses/candy.
4.) The Education event aka a movie with possibly more candy and popcorn; will
be taking place on 10/23 (Thursday) @ 9pm in Hoyt Auditorium (where all the
movies are). We’ll need help advertising later (aka putting up a few
flyers) so that will probably will be happening at the next general members
meeting as well.
5.) Any more questions, feel free to shoot me an email. Also email
me if you want to be taken off the Habitat mailing list (though that will make
me a little sad)
