Probably the most useful Islamic website, by Shaykh Muhammad b. Salih al-Munajjid, a scholar and student of Shaykh Ibn Baz.  Contains a continually updated database of questions and answers, providing proofs from the Qur'an, Sunnah, and statements from the books of classical and contemporary ulama.  One could find the answer to virtually any question in regards to fiqh, aqeedah, etc.

A useful website containing the entire Qur'an, as well as the most highly regarded English translations of the meanigns of the Qur'an.  Useful for looking up verses and their translations.  It also includes tafseer of each verse from Tafseer al-Jalalayn. www.tafsir.com
Contains the entire English translation of Tafseer Ibn Katheer (abridged), organized by verse.

Instructions for downloading podcasts:
If you already use a podcast retriever (ex. itunes, media monkey), simply plug in the rss feed:
http://tajweedpodcast.libsyn.com/rss. If not, you can follow these instructions:
1. Download ziepod from http://www.ziepod.com/ZiepodSetup.exe
2. Install it, then run it.
3. Click the subscriptions tab, click add, then paste:

4. Click finish, and it will show you a list of all the lessons. Click on one lesson, hit ctrl-a to select all, then right click and download episode (this step might happen automatically, depending on your settings) then voilà! Start at lesson one at the bottom of the list.

If you have trouble opening the videos, you might not have the right codecs installed. Try downloading and installing KLM Codec pack from:
