College Community Weekends
College Community Weekends are weekends that incorporate some of our can't miss events on campus. Each weekend has its own distinct feel and signature events, yet always manage to contain something new and exciting for the community to come together and experience.
September 7 - 9: Yellowjacket Weekend
Welcome back! Come celebrate the beginning of the academic year with fun and exciting events including Convocation, Activities Fair, Comedy Central Live Tour featuring Mike Birbiglia and Christian Finnegan, live music by reggae band Mama Jama,a Hawaiian style luau, cotton candy, sno-cones, ice cream, movies, and more!
October 18 – 21: Meliora Weekend
The 7 th annual Meliora Weekend combines three not-to-miss Rochester traditions—Family Weekend, Homecoming, and Reunion. This year’s highlights include Garth Fagan Dance, An Evening with The Stars of Curb Your Enthusiasm, the first Battle of the Rochester Bands,Mystic Midnight Madness Psychic Fair and Dessert Bar, interesting Speakers, and much more!
February 1 – 3: Winter Fest Weekend
When the temperature starts to drop there’s a great way to heat things up! Winter Fest ’08 features our 5th annual Step Show, Winter Wonderland, comedian Demetri Martin, 90’s Dance Party, Glass Blowing, ice skating, movies, and other exciting activities guaranteed to get rid of the winter blahs.
April 11 – 13: Spring Showtime Weekend
It’s Showtime! This jam packed spring fling has it all, including a hilarious Drag
Show, as well as music, dance and high energy student performances like Mela, OBOC and the Ramblers. You can also kick back and relax with your friends and favorite faculty at Club Rochester.
