May 5th, 2007 - Our annual Senior Party was held tonight! Good luck to all of our seniors: Nassy Avramidis, Jessica Badlam, Jackie Borchardt, Amanda Burns, Tina Caliguiri, Meegan Conrad, Kelsey Croft, Beth Devine, Becky Fronheiser, Tran Hong, Maura McCourt, Stephanie Miller, Natalie Modzelewski, Michelle Polley and Jamie Svenson. We will miss you all so much! Come back and visit soon!

April 30th, 2007 - For the second consecutive year, the Beta Pi chapter won the University's annual Greek Week competition! Events included a talent show, a trivia competition, touch football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, and floor hockey. Great job to all Panhellenic women!

April 13th, 2007 - Our Pancake Dinner was held tonight. Guests were treated to $5 all-you-can-eat pancakes, which came with a variety of toppings, including syrup, chocolate sauce and strawberries. Over $500 was raised for our national philanthropy, Prevent Child Abuse America! Thanks to everyone involved!

November 12th, 2006 - The Beta Pi chapter welcomed 11 fabulous women into its sisterhood today. Congratulations and welcome to the Alpha Chi (Fall '06) new member class - Caitlin Carragee, Ashley Cronin, Emily Discenza, Alex Lipman, Liz Morrison, Rochelle Osiniski, Nicole Ruszczak, Kaitlin Strahler, Kate Trono, Kelsey Turley and Elise Welton!

November 3rd, 2006 - The annual Mr. U of R competition was held tonight in Hubbell Auditorium. Over $800 was raised for our national philanthropy, Prevent Child Abuse America. Seven studs participated in eveningwear, swimwear, talent and question & answer competitions. Congratulations to Kevin Cullen, Mr. U of R, 2006!! Thanks to all participants and spectators!!

October 31st, 2006 - Sigma Delta Tau sisters participated in the Panhellenic Association and Fraternity President's Council-sponsored Halloween trick-or-treating event. Children were welcomed to the frat quad, where houses had been decorated, to trick-or-treat.

October 7th, 2006 - The Beta Pi chapter held its annual Parent and Alumni Receptions this afternoon on the floor. Family and alumni were invited to enjoy refreshments and get to know current sisters.

October 1st, 2006 - Sisters participated in the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. This walk is a noncompetitive event supporting the American Cancer Society's unique mission to fight cancer on four fronts: research, education, advocacy, and service programs.

September 2006 - Interested in sorority life at UR? Meet the sisters of Sigma Delta Tau during Fall Informal Recruitment! Informal Recruitment is a great, casual way to meet sisters and get to know about our chapter. (Note: Informal Recruitment is open to all sophomore, junior and transfer students. Interested freshmen are welcome to participate in the Formal Recruitment Period, which will be held in the spring.) We are having parties on the following days:

April 28th, 2006 - The Beta Pi chapter won the annual Greek Week panhellenic competition this past week, which included floor hockey, volleyball, basketball, soccer, and touch football games, as well as a talent show and spirit points. April 27th, 2006 - Sigma Delta Tau held its second annual Date Auction to support its national philanthropy, Prevent Child Abuse America. Sisters were auctioned off to lucky bidders, who were invited to a party on the floor following the auction. Over $1,000 was raised for PCAA! Below are some snapshots:

April 8th, 2006 - Sisters particpated in Rochester's annual Relay for Life, an overnight event 
  which benefits the American Cancer Society, and is designed to celebrate survivors 
  and to raise money for research and programming. Team Sig Delt raised more than $500!!

April 1st, 2006 - Several sisters volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit 
        organization dedicated to building housing for the needy through volunteer labor.

February 7th, 2006 - Congratulations to Jessica Waddell who was named the Athlete of the Week 
in this week's Campus Times! Jessica is a member of the Rochester Women's Basketball 
Team, that enjoyed a trip to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen. We're so proud of you Jes!
