There are many scholarship opportunities available for the sisters of SDT.
We are a diverse group of women with majors and interests spanning the entire university curriculum.
Peer mentoring and study buddies are only two ways in which sisters may receive academic assistance.
Additionally, many sisters choose to study together in the library, and benefit from study files created by other sisters.
Recently, the Beta Pi Chapter added a study lounge to the floor.
In both the spring and fall semesters, Sigma Delta Tau holds faculty tea.
This is a great opportunity for sisters to get to better know professors and to interact with them in a casual environment.
For more information about scholarship and SDT, contact our Vice President of Scholarship, Allison Guttman, aguttman@u.rochester.edu.

SDT's national organization also offers a variety of scholarship and grant opportunities for sisters.
The Sigma Delta Tau Foundation awards scholarship grants annually to deserving active sisters who are in need of financial aid.
The Scholarship Committee judges each applicant based on:
financial need, sorority involvement, campus activities, academic achievement and letters of recommendation from the chapter advisor.
Applications are due April 1st each year and are available on-line in the SDT Foundation section of this website.
Grants are awarded following the Foundation Trustees Meeting each June.
