Head Coach

Will Greene

Coach Will Greene ('88) begins his eighth year as the head coach of the program. As a University of Rochester freshman in 1984 Will had no rowing experience when he joined the team. Upon graduation from UR, Will served in the U.S. Navy and returned to graduate school at Villanova University in Philadelphia.

While in Philadelphia, Will was an active rower, competing from Pennsylvania Athletic Club, a club that supports athletes with National team aspirations. As a representative of the Penn A.C. team, Will has competed in numerous National team selection regattas, as well as internationally. Additionally, Will has coached with Villanova University and the University of Pennsylvania.

After retiring as a competitive oarsmen, Coach Greene worked as an attorney for several Philadelphia area law firms for seven years. The pull of the sport, however, was too strong, and Will has returned to Rochester to head up the program.

Assistant Coach

Michael Sealander

sealander Michael Sealander was an undergraduate at Rochester ('06) rowing all four years. Currently a graduate student studying electrical and computer engineering, he has been the Men's Novice Coach the last five years.
